Nabiha Qadir, a British-Pakistani aspiring Architect based in London, is currently studying a Masters in Architecture at the University of Cambridge, where her research explores Migrant safe spaces in London, with a focus on interrogating the addition of new architecture to culture rich communities and areas. She also works as a part time Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Makespace Architects, a Young Advisor for V&A East and a freelance graphic designer. She also takes an interest in religious architecture, stemming from her work with The Architecture Foundation on a research placement on religious buildings in London, as well as local Mosque projects she worked on at Makespace Architects. She hopes to shape her practice around these areas, using her background in Architecture to address issues surrounding decolonisation, regeneration in culture rich communities and diversifying Architectural education.
